Ancient History behind Vishwa Shanti Stupa & Veeraytan Museum

The city of Rajgir was the first capital of the Kingdom of Magadha, a state that eventually evolve into Mauryan Empire. Although, ceramics dating to about 1000 BC have been found in the city. This area is notable in Jainism & Buddhism.

We woke up early in the morning and had breakfast and started for Rajgir Hills.

Rajgir is one of the favourite places of Lord Mahaveera & Lord Buddha and known as “Atanatiya” conference held at Vulture’s peak mountain which is known as: “Vishwa Shanti Stupa” at Rajgir.
