Spituk Monastery, Leh 

Spituk Gompa/ Spituk Monastery beautifully placed monastery just 8 kms away from Leh. Founded in 11th Century by Od-de, the elder brother of Lha Lama Changchub

Rinchen Zangpo, an interpreter, was the person who gave the name to monastery. In the underlying face, the gompa used to keep running on the principals of the Kadampa school (Red Hat group) yet it later came into the overlap of Gelugpa arrange (Yellow Hat faction). The religious community as of now is home to around 100 monks.The most notorious component of the cloister are the symbols of Buddha and 5 thangkas offering space to models and little chortens. Getting there 

Spituk Monastery is situated at a height of 3,307 meters (10,852 feet), roughly 18 kilometers from Leh on the Srinagar street. To achieve the religious community, visitors can enlist a taxi from Leh.

We were staying in Phyang so it was only 2 kms from LSRC. We went to Spituk Gompa on Royal Enfield.

As I entered; positive energy of that place was really making my mind calm & balanced. If anyone is not believing in God my suggestion to him will be to believe in positive energy & the places where it gets. Life will become more simple you never thought of.

After that mesmerising experience we went to back side of monastery to see Landing & Take-off of airplace cause Airport’s runway was there. Luckily we had seen Landing & Take-off of flights.

Delicious Food in Leh City

We went to Hotel Punjabi Rasoi again in Leh and had snacks. Then we went to Ishey Aunty to plan the next day for Pangong Lake & Thikse Monastery. We decided to drop-off Royal Enfield over there & Booked Mahindra Xylo for next day.

Food was yummy & budget friendly too with free Wi-Fi .

We came to LSRC (R & R Centre). Vivek & Me returned the bikes and came on 8.30 PM.
