Glorious history about Rujubalika everyone not know

Rujuvalika / Rujubalika Teerth located in Bihar is a Jain pilgrimage centre.

The Teerth Kshetra is situated in the vicinity of the Barakar village on the banks of River Barakar.

Rujubalika – where Lord Mahaveera attained salvation

Bhagwan Mahaveer Swami (24th Teerthankar of Jainism)attained Kevalgyana (knowledge of past, present and future) below Shali Tree on the banks of Barakar River.

Mahaveer Swami attained kevalgyana in Goduhi Aasan (you can see in the photo) till 12.5 years and that was the day in hindu calendar as Margashish Vadya Dashami.

At the age of 30, Mahaveer Swami left his family and took Jain religion’s Diksha and at the age of 42.5 he attained Kevalgyana.

Mahaveer Swami’s total lifespan was 72 years.

Hence the reason : I feel privileged to born in Jain Religion 🙂
