We started for Leh by booking Tavera. Bashir Bhai was the driver & owner of car indeed a very good person. Shared by Devashish, a lawyer from Gurgaon (Delhi) & his friend Sumit. We had a nice conversation with these guys.

We were not in a mood to leave this beautiful city behind but if you have to reach somewhere you have to leave from existing place to reach there. I think I said the dialogue from Bollywood Movie Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani 😉

The mountain section had started. Ice mountains from both side of car and deep valley was making that view beautiful as well as dangerous.
It was thrilling experience to travel in such circumstances.

We took halt at Zojila Pass where clicked many pictures and what I can say about the view with Maggi. Yumm!

We reached Indian War Memorial in Drass Sector. It was a very proud moment for us that Indian Soldiers won the battle with Pakistan but eventually sad one that many of our soldiers like Capt. Vikram Batra & Capt. Manoj Pandey & many soldiers sacrificed their lives for our Nation.
